Battles are obstacles in our lives that we have to face, willingly or forcefully. Recently, we have all have to cohesively face a number of them due to things rapidly changing nationwide. This has been a time of confusion, loss, figuring things out, finding new ways to cope, and a number of other things; but the ending result will be beautiful. Everyone has heard the saying, “God gives his hardest battles to His strongest soldiers,” and being strong is the only option we have at this moment. Make the best of the battles at hand, and the outcome will be what it is supposed to be. For example, I am a college senior and when I came to the realization that the remainder of my senior year will no longer happen as I envisioned it, I was heartbroken. I didn’t get to experience a lot of the things I had planned, and it took me a hot minute to process not being able to say a formal goodbye to some of my friends, go to my last Spring Formal, and a number of other things. I had to come to the realization that this was just God’s plan for the rest of my college experience and it was a hard pill swallow, honestly. But it also caused me to lean on God more than ever before this battle is a lot bigger than little Mia is, and I just have to live life one day at a time. So I want to encourage you to have a positive mindset, catch up on some rest, be productive, finish strong, and make this quarantine the best while we patiently wait on outside to open!
